The creators of the Souls series (From Software) have released a new PS4 exclusive called Bloodborne

It's one of the most challenging games out there currently and it's fun as hell.

Yeah she's tough too. I use Ludwig's Holy Blade though and it does 20% extra damage to her so she never gave me much trouble.

The toughest thing about Ebrietas for me was when she charged up her arcane attack, that attack one shots me every time if I don't manage to dodge it.

Ok, first off you're facing Micholai, the host of the nightmare (AKA Micholas Cage). He's a puzzle boss. You'll figure it out.

You can only get to Canehurst via the summons. You get that by going to Iosefka's clinic via the back door. You access the back door thru the Forbidden Woods.

Canehurst is where you face Logarius.

After defeating Mr. Cage, you will continue on in that area and work your way to two new areas. One area is where you drop a huge brain down a dark hole. I highly recommend you look at a playthru or two about dealing with that.

Then you face Margo's wet nurse. A fairly easy boss of you know the trick.

I'm not too worried about Micholai. I've seen a few walkthroughs and it looks fairly simple. I'm just worried about what to do after..I didn't know Logarius was optional but I want to kill him regardless and get the crown.

No I haven't cleared the choir area but I think I know how to get there.. thanks for the support throughout the game dude, I appreciate it. I'll def pm you..I need all the help I can get.

Also..I didn't really upgrade my skill arcane and tinge much..mostly focused on strength endurance and vitality. wondering if it will become an issue..ranking up is so expensive now.

Just wait for him to start walking up to you, charge up an R2 attack and repeat. He is really easy if you have enough health to not be one hit killed by his gun.

Those stats aren't really important at all unless you are using very specific builds that utilize the Chikage or Arcane blood gems. Don't level up Endurance past 40 because you get nothing from it after that, and really all you need is 20-30 Endurance once you have the Anti Clockwise Metamorphis runes.

I'm doing a strictly strength build now and no, it doesn't really matter that much. Unlike previous Souls games, Arcane isnt really a big part of the game.

It does help a bit in some areas and it can give you an advantage in PVP and in the dungeons. However, I've beat the game fairly 'easily' w/o putting one point into arcane or tinge.
(As I'm doing now)

I have to admit, I've played the hell outta this game and I just keep going back. I think I may try to beat the dungeons for the first time here shortly.
Since you and I are kinda closely leveled, let me know if you want to give them a shot as well in co-op. Might be fun.

If you want to power level your character really quick just farm the area that's right after the Micolash fight. The three pigs and the Shadows of Yharnam there give tons of blood echoes. Just kill them all and then use a Bold Hunter's Mark and do it all over again.

Yep. 15% stamina increase ftw.

Is there a cap on Vitality as well? I think I heard somewhere that it's useless to increase it after like 45 or something.

Actually no. There are diminishing returns with Vitality after 50, but it's not hard capped like Endurance is.

EDIT: Vitality does cap at level 99.

There is actually a 20% stamina rune in the chalice dungeons. All of the best stuff (gems/runes) are in the chalice dungeons.

I'm down to do some co-op at some point Gonzo or with whoever. Just gotta fix my connection because it always says NAT type 3 especially with Destiny..when I played Bloodborne with my friend it was nearly unbearable from the lag and my internet connection is usually really good. It'd be nice to play with someone more experienced.

Can anyone update me on the chalice dungeons as well.. Played the first one earlier this morning and it scared me..boss was fairly easy but now I'm on the 2nd stage and there seems to be a lot of respawning enemies.

I really wish I upgraded the holy blade sooner esp after hearing its the best weapon..I got too carried away with the axe & kirkhammer..

Whats everyones thoughts on the DLC? who's getting it..I will be for sure and prob over Arkham Knights season pass..last DLC i bought was destinys

You have to find and kill the bell maidens to stop them from respawning in certain dungeons. The dungeons get really hard once you start doing depth 4 and 5 cursed dungeons, cursed dungeons cut your HP in HALF, but they have the best blood gems in the game. The cursed gems you want to look out for are the ones that increase your physical damage by 18-27% and increase your stamina costs by 1-3%. You can also farm cursed gems from the walking brain enemies after you kill Micolash but the ones they drop are capped at 18%.

I am definitely getting any bloodborne DLC that comes out.
This (so far) is the game of the year IMHO. Witcher is a close second.
