Patriots tried to get Trent Williams

The funniest part of the story, they offered a 1st and the Redskins said it wasn't enough.

I'm not even sure Williams is worth a 1 considering he hasn't played a full season since 2013 and he's only done it 2 times oh and he's 31.

Texans may be stupid enough to offer Clowney + a pick for him. They're THAT desperate for LT help. Rumors are (from local radio talking heads) they're also talking to Philly about a possible trade, but everyone knows the Texans are in big trouble at LT so teams holding off on any deals just yet.

They don’t even have a GM. It’s a disaster.

If the had done what the Texans have done re: Clowney with Dee Ford, there would be a crazy shitstorm of epic proportions here. But also, the handled Ford differently and there were a ton of folks really pissed about that, so

I bet the Eagles end up trading for him for like a 2nd or 3rd, play him a year, tag and trade him.

Yeah, the Chiefs did that right though, if you weren't gonna keep him.

Same as Seattle did with Frank Clark.

They had an upper echelon LT.

Then he got uppity and the Texans traded him for peanuts.

Having Watson ruined because their owner was a racist **** is just deserts.

Yep. Talking heads here in town were saying the same thing. Now it's a "buyers market" and the Texans will get hosed.

True to a point, BUT Brown was always complaining about something. The Texans put up with his BS for years because he was a very good LT. Nobody on the team was sad to see him go. That says something.

Patriots have the best OL coach in the league so they’ll probably figure it out
