Maybe I'll assisinate Chris and delay the "discovery" of America...

This will be fun, let me check my options and I'll let you know where I woke up New Year's Day.

I've been hanging out in the Azores on Terciera Island. Quite an interesting time, went from being mostly agrarian to becoming a major port of call for the galleons carry booty back from the New World. Might have engaged in some looting and plundering but nothing too nefarious. Beautiful place to be.

What the heck, while my B-17 is still in the shop, I'll see where I land in time.

Yeah, but there are probably no lines at the airport.

You can't go wrong with 1224 AD. I bet there's all sorts of fun stuff going on in France and Spain.

You get 1807 AD, a good time to watch President Jefferson in action. Or would you rather watch Napoleon invade Russia?

I went and saw the first performance of Beethoven's 4th Symphony in B. It was a private concert so getting in was difficult. It's not his most iconic work but it was still good.

I rode the first fare paying passenger railway in Wales. I recommend waiting until they improve their service.

I had to go see Napoleon's army defeat Russia at the Battle of Friedland. I saw the treaty signed by both sides that was just a few weeks later.

There were probably some other notable events worth seeing but there actually wasn't too much going on. I decided to just buy a bunch of land in the Sierra Nevada range in California. That turned out to be a great investment.

That sounds like a good trip. If postcards have been invented, I hope you sent us one.

Beethoven 4 is in B-flat.

The Germans spell B-flat as B, though.

Oh, I just looked it up. You might be in the right time period to see Stonehenge being built. You could at least talk with the people who are going to build it in a few years.
