You should. This is eerily similar to when the Saints drafted Kamara.

I drafted him with my last pick his rookie year, because they had Ingram and Peterson. No one thought their RB3 would have a big season. Then he was one of the best backs in fantasy.

MJD had thighs the size of cannons. I love Thompson's game, but I don't see MJD.

(I will defer to your expertise, though)

You get better when you play with the best. Look at some of the throws our backup QBs are making. If Mahomes wasn't actually Jesus, we'd be pining to see them in games.

Thompson’s thighs are pretty beefy themselves. It’s that build though. Short, squatty, stacked with muscle.

Spread them out and give it to a guy that makes people miss or breaks tackles. Charles was always a good short yardage back imo
And Marcus Allen was one of the best Totally agree though. The big slow backs don't make much sense to me.

Running backs that can avoid contact and make guys miss are more valuable

I watched some preseason highlights of Thompson and I love what I saw from him. He did it all today didn’t he? He was running, catching and blocking out of the backfield. He did all three of those well.

I like his speed, agility, lateral quickness, etc. He plays with toughness. I thought his run where he carried three defenders and managed to get more yards was all fortitude and determination. I was amazed by this guys playing spirit. I think he may work his way up the depth charts if he keeps this going.

I heard he had poor running back vision but I didn't see any evidence of that.

The thing that he has that is special is he is fast in small spaces. I think combining that with being hard to tackle is something that can get him snaps. Pass blocking will keep him in the game.

I'm drafting him, hell you only live once.

He is a tad slower and little less quick Barry Sanders type back which is still amazing. You forgot one item he also did in the game and that was "hurdling" at around 5ft.
