I'm enjoying watching the commercials more than the game.

Pretty sure Andy found a couple plays from this game he will use someday

That was fun. Thanks again to suzzer for finding it. It's the first time I've watched the entire game since I saw it live when I was 9.
As others have said, the commercials were awesome. And I'm glad they showed the hot air balloon crashing into the crowd. |

Whoa black and white in the fourth quarter. That was jarring.

That Schick Chromium razor blade commercial made me want to start wet shaving again.

I mean, a re-enactment of the Battle of New Orleans?? That was awesome...I actually skipped through most of half time but stopped on that part.
Trumpet war at pregame with Doc Severinson representing the AFL...awesome... The marching band did pregame, halftime and post game...That was amazing. Summerall and Buck were like "You're in for a dandy of a half time show!" So...quaint. And the stands were full during the halftime show. Nobody left and the cheers were super loud. Oh, and the Harlem Globetrotters will be on tonight...always a great show... That and the cigarette commercials were awesome. Salem...you can take Salem out of the Country, but you can't take the country out of Saaaalem! I watched it on and off throughout the day today. That was a treat...

Really nice trip back in time to the glory days. I was just a youngster in California at the time, but I they were the team I started rooting for, instead of the Los Angeles Rams with Roman Gabriel. Glad I am around to see the glory years part two.

I wrestled and played baseball, and I can't even remember my coach's names for either. I do not remember who the band or music teacher was at that time.
The Golden Regiment started to become really big when my kids were in school, but neither of my kids were in the band. One of them was in Forensics and the other was in the Robotics team. |
