Tom Brady now has more SB appearances than any team

In the history of the ****ing league other than of course the one he plays for...

Yea NFL, salary cap and parity really doing a great job there.

It's not like they've been sanctioned and take draft picks away from them for cheating.

I doubt we'll ever see such a dominant dynasty again in history. It's literally every other year on average they make it to the Superbowl. Can't wait for him and Belichick to retire.

That's fine and all about all this greatness but that greatness has done nothing but kill the league in my view.

The NFC seems to get a new team every year and the AFC has been represented by a handful of teams in a 25 year period.

Just like the dominance of New York in the 1950s almost killed MLB, the west ward expansion was for simple survival of many teams as attendance had plummeted, the Patriots have turned toxic for the NFL. I know that I will not watch the Super Bowl because of it just like I didn't watch last years Super Bowl for the same reason.

Yep, it'll be my second missed Super Bowl since 1971. I didn't waste my time on it last year, and I don't want to watch football when the stupid Patriots are playing. They jumped the shark years ago and they're bad for the sport.

Start charging them Brady's fair value on the salary cap and see what happens.

NFL lost a shit-ton of credibility today...not with me...that was gone a few years ago... but with the crowd that kinda-sorta pays attention and still thinks this is legit.

Literally both teams in the SB shouldn't be playing...

Who the **** cares who wins? It'll be the least cared about Superbowl in history...it's like "yeah, whatever"..."you're the last of teams that officials decided not to call penalties on"

The trust they lost is almost impossible to get back...

Here's a key, besides the obvious cheating.

Dude's been taking up half the cap of what a stat QB should take for like 10 years now.

8 teams is more than a handful (that's half of the 16 teams in the conference). Since 1994:

San Diego
Pittsburgh
Denver
Oakland
Indianapolis
Baltimore
New England
Tennessee

This doesn't fly. There is very little parity in the AFC.

-The Patriots, Broncos, Colts, Steelers, Ravens and Bills have now represented the AFC 30 of the last 34 Super Bowls. That's 6 teams. If you're nearly 50 years old you probably have little memory of anyone else having sustained success.

-The Pats, Broncos and Steelers make up 22 of those 34 appearances. The other 13 teams have 12 appearances.

-Brady, Manning or Roethlisberger have won the AFC 16 of the last 18 years.

-In that same period, 14 of the 16 NFC teams have been to the Super Bowl at least once. 11 of those teams have made the Super Bowl at least twice.

He's played in more Bowls than Montana, Young and Aikman combined...think about that.

Hes the goat - not much else you can say. He didn't look particularly amazing today but whenever he needed a play on 3rd and whatever he just completed it. It was something

No. Brady will have played in 9, but:

Montana: 5 (1981, 1984, 1987, 1988, 1989)
Young: 1 (1994)
Aikman: 3 (1992, 1993, 1995)

That equals 9 too.
