Durant wanted a championship on his resume so he threw up the white flag and joined a team that had recently won one.
Because if you were in his shoes you'd go to the Timberwolves or Buck's right?

Told you guys! Celtic power! Bradley is so underrated along with pretty much all of the Celtics roster. They are keeping the Cavs limited from 3 and that's the key

Didn't say the Timberwolves or Bucks did I. I don't even fault him for leaving OKC. He clashed a lot with Westbrook and it was coming apart. Good for Durant, after years of not being able to lead a team to a championship he can just glom on to one that's already done it.

you said an up and coming team that makes good decisions. I would have gone to golden state too. You can't even deny that you wouldn't

This game is over. Yeah they are only down 8 but they aren't getting the lead back.

Celtics had their chance but they have gone cold and Irving dominated them in the 3rd

Come on Cavs. **** every in Boston!

As if the Warrior wouldn't kill Boston. At least the Cavs provide excitement.

I wonder if he'll choose to end it on Thursday or not. From a rest perspective, it would be helpful that way.

He had other options than the Timberwolves or Bucks. You don't constantly call someone 'your little brother' and call the Thunder 'a family' and then go and play for the team that just knocked you out of the playoffs and who had one of their players kick one of your teammates in the nuts.

Durant is as fake as they come.

Should you go to a shittier team just to prove something to NBA fans? Carmelo Anthony went that route and how did that turn out?
Most of the best players don't want to play with other best players because they want to beat them. They have a competitiveness about them. Durant clearly lacks that.. He would rather play with the best than go up against them. It is painfully obvious given his choice to leave the Thunder the way he did.

A lot of people are probably like Durant but plenty are not. Plenty of people would never join a team they lost to after losing a tough 7-gm series like Durant did. They'd want to come back and beat the hell out of that team if given the chance.

As far as Carmelo Anthony, hey he had a chance to leave the Knicks and he resigned so clearly he couldn't have been that unhappy about going there. Winning a championship the easy way isn't always as attractive to some of these guys as you would think for a lot of reasons.
