I'm pretty sure Sutton is going to be just a bad memory soon. That said, it won't be because the fans are in an uproar. Both Andy and Clark aren't going to let the court of public opinion dictate how and when Bob leaves. Don't get me wrong, the decision has been made, it's just the timing and I suspect that to be shortly before the Superbowl. Andy and Clark will hold a presser and announce Bob is retiring, maybe for "health reasons", thank Bob for his service and perhaps name a jockstrap holder after him. I even suspect the new DC has already been chosen. There may be some "interviews", but that's just a smokescreen.

If Andy keeps Sutton it's time for him to go as well.

Because it's been a whole 36 hours since a heartbreaking loss in the first AFCCG ever in Arrowhead Stadium.

I will laugh if the changes are just a shuffling around of titles

Emmitt Thomas retires
Al Harris promoted to secondary coach
Mike Smith promoted to DC
Bob Sutton given fake consultant defensive spread game analyst advisory role

The Chiefs will not let Patrick Mahomes go forward with a third-rate defense. Mahomes is the franchise. Mahomes will inspire Reid, Veach, and Hunt to get better.

Sutton is gone. Wish I could put money on that.

Sutton's scheme is designed to let QB's beat themselves with turnovers due to pressure. If we have a lead in Arrowhead, it works pretty well.

When we're on the road, or playing a team that can control the ball/LOS, it fails.

Good QB's will not stop themselves in the playoffs. This D is designed to get you 10 wins and 0-1 playoff wins, but we would NEVER win a Super Bowl with this scheme.

It's time for a change.

Sutton's scheme works great when you have a huge amount of talent everywhere. We don't....so his scheme sucks. The reason he needs to get fired is because his lack of adjusting and sticking with players that were/are horrible.

If this truly was leaked by someone who knows, it probably means Reid already knows what he's doing and he's cleaning house defensively. If he was keeping them or undecided, there is no way this would leak because the only people who may have a clue where he was at on this would be Clark Hunt and/or Veach.

Is it really a meeting if it lasts 20 seconds?

At least, I'm presuming it lasted 20 seconds. There's not much to discuss.
