With next year's cap expected to go way up Veach is moving to get in now in a BUYERS market.

Clear cap space and just load up.

Get all kinds of comp picks for 1 year vet ring chasers that leave.

Plus who wants to be buying FA's next year when teams will be spending stupid amounts of money?

Veach is way ahead of this.

Plus..revenge. You know these guys will move mountains to knock out anyone in our way when they feel our championship was stolen through bad luck.

In Veach I trust. The way I see it, there was no way Fisher was going to be even 90% ready at the start of the season. We proably wouldn't have seen him until mid to late Oct. at best. We would have had to overpay for a JAG placeholder AND pay Fisher.
