Ha I recall making a comment on their page back when Cassel was QB. I said something along the lines of this franchise will never gain new fans because they aren’t serious about getting a legit starter at QB. I’d like to think they read my post but who am I kidding. lol

Dawson. (I'm 72.)
I went to William Jewell in the mid 60s when the Chiefs trained there but I wasn't a football fan then. I joined the Air Force in 1968 and my first assignment was in Minnesota. Listening to the Vikings fans dump on the Chiefs got me paying attention. I ended up making a few bucks betting on SB 4 and I've been a fan ever since.

Montana, I was a young lad just getting into football and the only name I really knew was Joe Montana and I grew up in Kansas and it was on TV all of the time and became hooked. There was this kid that was a bills fan in my grade and he kept talking shit after the last time we made it to the Championship round and we got into a fist fight.

I remember watching a Chiefs-Eagles game in '92 thinking that I should root for the Chiefs, then not really giving a shit, then feeling a twinge of disappointment when I saw they were shutout by San Diego in the playoffs. The next year they traded for Montana and I hopped on the bandwagon, becoming a crazed fan.

So pleased no one has answered Matt Cassel. This is like a real life lie detector and thus far we've all passed.

I really love seeing the old guard here. You know, I'm 45 and feel like this Chiefs team has beat me to an emotional pulp.
There's TWO guys in this thread that are 72. I can't wait for the win on Sunday. You guys REALLY deserve it. |
