It’s really difficult to beat a team 3 straight times in the same season. Jimmy G is ass as well.

I think it’s Rams/Chiefs in the SB

I think the 9ers offense is too anemic rn to go onto the super bowl. I’ll be rooting for them though, having to play BACK TO BACK Super Bowls on the road is just ****ing ridiculous.

The Rams offense is much more multi dimensional than Green Bay. GB is basically just, Rodgers doing Rodgers things and Adams doing Adams things. When that starts to fail the entire offense can disappear.

The 49ers defense is back to 2020 levels now that it’s healthy, though. Don’t think there’s ZERO chance the 9ers win but Id be pretty surprised, and I say that as someone who picked them against both the cowboys and packers.

If I’m a 49ers fan, I’m a bit concerned about drawing Carl Cheffers who has the highest penalty rate of any officiating crew over the last two years (we, on the other hand, got the officiating crew with the lowest - the NFL sure loves consistency, huh?). SF won their 2 matches against the Rams with real physical play in the trenches and the secondary, Cheffers, as we know, can singlehandedly neutralize that style of play in a hurry.

On the other hand, if McVey decides his biggest opponent of the day is himself, we could see the game play out much like the first two matchups this season (the Rams are 0-6 in their last 6 matchups vs San Fran).

I picked the Chiefs vs Rams in the Super Bowl before the season. I’m worried now though because the 49ers own the Rams, much like the Chiefs own the Donkos.

I’m glad he’s doing the NFC.

Why would that worry you? The 49ers should be a better matchup for us.

Rama pass rush is the best of the teams left. Miller has been fantastic, probably bc Donald helps him.

I actually like it when mediocre QBs advance deep into the play-offs as it underscores how complex the sport is and that D is as important as O. Sometimes I feel like this overlooked when people are negative about low scoring games or that games that end 50 to 45 were amazing.

Also I'm no fan of that Rams RB that did the stay down gesture to the bloke (Cardinals game, maybe who?) who got seriously injured. Yeah, he didn't know he was seriously injured but that doesn't mean it's not in poor taste.

It’s not as important in the current era, but a good enough D can take a team far as long as the offense isn’t utterly impotent. The D has to be REALLY exceptional though. look at buffalo’s number 1 ranked defense, it didn’t take them anywhere but giving up 42 points and going home early. The only reason they were in that game was because of Allen and their offense.

65% of the fans in attendance in LA might be 49ers fans... what an embarrassment.

Link: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...pionship-game/

Quote:
The Los Angeles Times reports that ticket resale site Vivid Seats is estimating that 65 percent of fans in attendance will be 49ers fans. Vivid Seats estimated the crowd at 60 percent 49ers fans for the regular season game. Meanwhile, the secondary ticket site TickPick said the Rams’ attempt to curtail sales to customers outside of Los Angeles is an ineffective tactic that sometimes backfires and motivates fans of the road team to get more aggressive about buying tickets on resale sites.

With four days to go before the game, plenty of tickets will still be resold. But right now, there’s every reason to think the 49ers will again have a very large contingent of fans in Los Angeles.
