Agreed, but, he wasn’t worth the money, and further, the Ravens had faced this situation before when they won with Dilfer. They should have told him to go test the market and then when he sees that no one would pay him what he thinks he’s worth, then they could talk. Instead, by overpaying him, they had little funds to maintain their defense. This was their identity, they aged out and have now morphed into the running back that passes freak show.

Worse. For better or worse Flacco at least had a SB ring. Jackson doesn't and probably won't get them one, especially once he starts costing $40 million a year.
