Keep forgetting this is a 2019 4th rounder.

I've even seen various sites deduct the trade for next years draft.

What a steal

KPL has played well but I hope we get to see Eligwe at the WILL spot at some point this season because it's possible that Eligwe and Ragland are the future.

Tanoh wasn't awful yesterday, either.

Of course, the defense hasn't been the issue during the 1-5 stretch...
I agree with most of this but the defense did lose the Raiders game which was the last decent game Smith played.

Though Smith could have won that game with a few plays but the defense was a dumpster fire. Carr had 400 yards passing I think?

I can't believe we got this guy for only a 4th rd pick. Not even next years 4th..a 2019 4th rd pick.

You can already see an improvement from our run defense just from this guy, and it was against Zeke Elliott and Shady McCoy in his recent ascension.

The defense has a chance to be much improved next year in the middle when EB comes back and joins this guy.

This might be one of the biggest steals the Chiefs have had in years.

The guy looks every bit like the 1st rd prospect he was hyped to be and we got him for a 4th rd pick 2 years from now.

Crazy how ILB has gone from a glaring need to an area of competency. Ragland is the real deal, KPL has shown flashes of athleticism and at the very least can fill his role as a chase linebacker, and Eligwe has the potential to pick up where KPL falls short.

Ragland or "Rags" for short is essentially the Chief's 1st round pick this season

Ragland has been great, and he has taken a bit of pressure off of DJ. I like how they rotated KPL in when in the nickel.

Eligwe though? Special teamer only right now. I wouldn ‘t get ahead of myself with him just yet, but I like the athleticism and physicality Ragland and KPL have displayed. Save a little mileage on DJ for the playoff run.....
