Yeah, same here. By the time we got to the basement I think the worst was over.

In 2007 we had a tough winter.

In 2010 we had 15" of snow on the level. No big deal because no wind. Got up to 50. Lasted a week or so.

On 4-30-17 we got 12" or snow, but it was gone a couple days later after it ****ed my wheat in the ass.

In the interim we got ****all for winter moisture at all.

So December 2018, its been 11 years since a winter that was even remotely tough. So then we get an inch of rain and then a foot of snow with 50 MPH wind. ****ing 5' drifts everywhere. So I got a tractor and dug out, and scooped and scooped and scooped. Then, 3 weeks later, when it was just getting to where the streets were passable. Then it rains .75" and snows another 10" or so. Less wind, but still took a tractor to get me out. And that shit was HEAVY. That ****ing snow is still around in some places.

11 years between winters and this one was ****ing horrible.

So yeah, don't jinx yourself.

When I was in Greenville, SC and they would have ice, the news crews would set up at bridges to film people wreck. How shitty is that?

Damn really? It didnt seem bad out yesterday. Once I heard the thunder this morning I said **** this and called out. KC doesnt give a **** about treating their roads.
