I'm 40. Saw both Harold and Kumars. Saw pretty much every Family Guy up until 3-4 seasons ago when it got stale. Never heard of him either. Or if I have he didn't make enough of an impression on me to remember him.

Loaded is great, too. I guess he released one a couple years ago, Teardrops on My Tombstone, but it was online and vinyl only. I went on discogs and copies are going for $200!! So I struck up a conversation with him on fb live, and he's sending me 3 copies on vinyl. I shipped the mailers to him yesterday.

I preordered the new LP too, Speak of the Devil, but if they're going to be fetching such high prices when they go out of print I might just pick up a couple more...

I didn't know him as Mickey Avalon, but I did check out Dave on FX. Decent distraction.

EDIT - Different dude, but leaving this as it's still a decent show.

Kind of a Curb Your Enthusiasm, meets Entourage, meets 8 Mile, for betas. Kind of funny, kind of silly, kind of inspiring. Decent hang.

I think there was one song I didnt enjoy as much but the rest of that album was on repeat for a long time.

I didnt like loaded near as much but it had its redeeming moments.

Loaded is a "grower", it wasn't as "instantly classic" as the first one, but when I went back to it, it "clicked."
