***Official Who to Start Thread***

Week 1 is looming folks. I'm giddy - like a schoolgirl. Anyway, I figured I would create a thread where people from the planet can post their rosters, and or tentative weekly starting rosters if they needed help.

I'm stuck @ #2 RB and #3 WR. Here is who I have starting in week one.

QB - Garrard @ Tenn
RB - Barber @ Cleveland
Portis @ NYG, TJones @ Miami, Selvin Young @ Oakland
WR - Colston v. TB
WR - Cotchery @ Miami
Bryant Johnson v. Zona, Hackett @ SD, Porter @ Tenn, Galloway @ NO
TE - Lee v. Minny
K - Jeff Reed v. Houston
JAX D @ Tenn.

Any help/guidance for my second RB and third WR would be appreciated.

Our information has yet to be posted on Yahoo! But, when it is I will be able to let you guys know some of the better FA WRs.

I have to go without a TE today so this is a day of big points needed....I also have Willie Parker on that list of RB's but he's on bye it's weird no one has offered me a trade.

Here we go.....McNabb is on a bye week....who do I start?

Orlovsky vs. Texans? Flacco vs. Dolphins?

Pick 2 RBs out of these 4.

Portis vs. Browns : Lynch vs. Chargers : Forte vs. Vikings : Julius Jones vs. Bucs

Pick 3 WRs out of these 6.

Andre Johnson vs. Lions : Marques Colston vs. Panthers : Santana Moss vs. Browns ; Vincent Jackson vs. Bills : Chad Johnson vs. Steelers : Eddie Royal vs. Patriots

I'm leaning towards this starting lineup.

Orlovsky
Portis
Lynch
A. Johnson
M. Colston
S. Moss

Flacco, Portis, Lynch, Johnson, Colston, then maybe I'd roll the dice on Royal or VJax since Moss has been nonexistent the last couple of weeks.

With Fee-Rix Jones hurt I'm stuck with a dilemma.

Rudi Johnson v. Houston, or McGahee v. Miamuh?

I'm leaning towards Ruuuuuddiiii!!!

Also, do you guys think Eddie Royal or Mason will put up more points this week? Right now I have Housh and Mason as my WRs, since Fitz is on a bye. But, I have a guy who wants one of my K's and Mason and he'll give me Royal.

I'd grab Royal because he's playing the Patriots and he said on Rotoworld.com that he's good to go.

I would probably lean towards Rudi Johnson just because McGahee hasn't done shit so far this year.

For week 9:

Favre vs Bills or Ryan vs Raiders?
NYG vs Dallas or Ravens vs Browns?

Favre has been up and down, and pretty unpredictable point-wise. Ryan has been ona steady climb with lots of yards, so I was considering giving him a shot (especially vs the Raiders).

I was thinking of the Ravens vs the Browns, but wanted opinions.

That's a tough one. I might go with Avery just because Bulger loves him. Edwards has the potential to have a huge game though.

That's going to be one hell of a shootout match. Go with Donnie Avery.

There have been one or two receivers to bust open the Baltimore defense, and Braylon's the kind of player who can do that, but he's just been so inconsistent this year that you may as well go with the hot option right now

Seeing as how I just traded for LT, I need a bye week suggestion.

I already have Sammy Morris, and I've put in a claim for Kevin Faulk - but won't know if I have him until Friday morning. Sadly, I think Faulk is my best option against Indy.

I've also been asked if I'd be willing to trade Bowe, who I haven't started once this season. I'd get Tim Hightower (vs Rams) from one owner, or Fred Taylor (Bengals) from the other. It's way to much to give, IMO, but he's just wasting away on my roster.

The wildcard, who is already on my roster, is Ryan Torain from Denver - who plays Miami this week.

If Shanahan wasn't such a schmuck, Torain would likely be my pick. Pittman has a rib issue, and the other two are likely out completely.

Suggestions?

Any word on this yet? I can't find anything. I have Slaton on my bench now but would definitely move him up if those guys are out.

As for QB, Big Ben vs. Washington (injured Shawn Springs)
or
Favre vs. Buffalo.

Both games are away games, and both the Redskins and Bills are around the same in terms of pass defense stats.
