But the voters leapfrogged them anyway because of how dominant they were over Wisconsin.
Yeah TCU beat like 5 ranked teams, 3 of which were top 10, only loss was by 3 at #5 Baylor.
OSU only had like 3 ranked wins and 1 top 10 win. Lost by two tds to VaTech who finished 7-6

But they had the "extra data point". The ends justified the means when they won it all.

{weeps}

WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SUCK SO BAD, BRADY COOK!!!!?!?!

I watched a bit of UGA football this year and Mizzou was hitting harder than anyone else I saw play them this year. That game was brutally physical.

So, does the Heisman go to Duggan or Williams?

It definitely looks like they are peaking now, if there is such a thing for a team that’s gone 27-1 the last two years.

Primacy/recency says Duggan.

And Williams is only a sophomore - I still think 'he'll get his next year' matters for a lot of voters.

But the bottom line is that the guy went out there, trolled Utah, and got his ass kicked in the final game of the year to knock his team out of the post-season.

Duggan, OTOH, salvaged his teams playoff berth by playing as tough a 2nd half as I've ever seen.

That's going to stand out in the eyes of voters, IMO. If it was at all close heading into the last week (and I think it was) - Duggan locked it down.

To many Heisman ballots get cast before conference championship games are played.
This will hurt Duggans chances IMO.
He deserves it though.

TCU-Michigan will be a competitive game at least.

Yea, I was kind of wondering that myself. Duggan left everything he had on the field. Took tremendous shots from the KSU DL time and again. And basically tied the CC game on his own.

I'd say that alone is more worthy than Caleb Williams.

Although to be fair, Williams took a 1/2 dozen needless shots after Utah had put the game away. Kinda shows what a shithead Lincoln Riley can be.

Probably the only game of the 3 that will be.

To be fair, Missouri is only 11 years in to the 100 year move. It'll pay off eventually

Not that it matters, but how did the committee have Utah jump KState?
