I think they're private security wanks. The cops don't wear lanyards with Chiefs sideline passes. They're just cops, and they have their full cop regalia with sidearm, billy club, mace, handcuffs, radios, etc. The CIA wanna be guys wear lanyards with Chiefs field passes. I haven't seen a side arm, they may be conceal and carry. But they wear earpieces and march back and forth behind the bench watching the crowd during the game. They tend to hover more in the fourth quarter. I think they escort Romeo off the field after the game. They always give the fans the stink eye, like they'd like to round us up and take us to Gitmo for a little waterboarding.
