Didn’t get to watch the game live, followed on here a bit

Per usual, it wasn’t as bad as it seemed here

The defense was butt****ing awful, but I'm looking at it again now and I think mostly it's due to guys like Eligwe, Terrance Smith and Murray trying to play vs starters. They are all awful.

They’re just not ready to be starters against that level of offense. As depth or whatever they’re not bad I guess.

Like the one long run, you’d like to think if that’s one of the starters at ILB it’s a 2 yard gain

Eligwe and Smith are not good but that Falcons offense is no joke, even though Jones and Freeman were not playing.

I am not worried for the rush defense. Just worried about that secondary.

I want to see close to our actual starting defense (with Ragland and Hitchens) against the Bears. I know this defense isn't good, but I want to see if we're a bottom feeder or if we're just a mediocre defense that gets outclassed by talented offensive squads. What do we look like when we have linebackers who DON'T constantly **** up like Eligwe and Smith do?

A lot of what we've seen appears to be fixable once the starters come in and we get Amerson off the field.

I agree with everything else, but I haven’t seen Murray make 1 mistake/bad play all preseason.

I can’t tell the coverage on the Hooper play bc it’s not all 22 but it definitely looks like Murray

Great, in that case we better be doing some heavy praying that we don't have any starters go down with injuries or have to come out for a rest!
