Watkins foot and LDT news
Reid indicated that Sammy’s foot is still attached, and “feeling good!

Also tomorrow is the deadline for activating players off IR. Veatch is to meet with LDT to determine whether he is ready.

If not, maybe Watts? (My speculation).

Speaks is out of position and overweight. There's a clear path to him becoming a much better player.

What I was surprised with was using him on jet sweeps and the shovel pass.

He is healthy or they wouldn't have used him on those type plays IMO.

We certainly seem to be better with him in. We have had some great games without him but seems like he is that piece that puts a defense back on their heels. That first play to him against the Colts I think was actually a deciding factor in the game. I think they knew then there was too much coming at them.

At this point I think you bring back Watts. Neither are in game shape and the OLine has a good chemistry going right now with Wylie. Although, LDT might want some payback against Hightower.

That being said, I think Watts and his speed are a little easier to throw out there if you have too. I wouldn't start either one.
