*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

And now we've seen two "unbeatable" versions of the Baltimore Ravens flop pretty hard in the Playoffs. Ouch, lol

Some of the most enjoyable Cowboys playoff games back in the day were watching them absolutely embarrass Randall Cunningham.

The Eagles were a damn good team but Dallas usually just shit all over them, because their style of play was so easily countered by a disciplined defense and a strong OL.

Hopefully this becomes a thing for us. I'd LOVE to get scattershot Lamar at Arrowhead.

I jumped up and screamed and gave myself the equivalent of a whippet blackout. I got super tunnel vision and slumped back on the couch. I may have passed out for a few seconds.

Same with Mahomes and the 2020 Chiefs.. that’s just the way it works out in single elimination setups.

That’s also why I don’t judge entirely on wins when comparing QBs. Weird shit happens in the NFL playoffs.

Speaking of Manning, he started out 0-3 in the postseason. Didn’t win his first playoff game until his sixth year in the league. Didn’t make it to the Super Bowl until his NINTH year in the league.

But yeah, 09 was one he needed. I bet if they go back in time, they keep playing starters and go for that perfect season.

I think he missed out big time on 04, 12 and 13 as well. 13 he obviously had that epic season with 55 TDs that still stands as a record, but 04 was probably his actual best statistical season when accounting for volume and efficiency. He basically threw a TD every 10 throws in 04. That is absurd. And 12 was the year the Broncos lost at home to the Broncos on that Hail Mary to Jacoby Jones. They had the #2 scoring offense and #4 scoring defense that year. Total waste.

Looked at Getty, AP, Imagn two team sites and three different newspapers.

NOBODY got a photo of Mahomes throwing a legendary pass.

SHAME.

Just had a thought.

What if Mahomes hasn't even hit his prime yet?
