Rocketman
Any Elton John fans around here? Just got back from seeing Rocketman, and it's a solid watch. It's a little less plot-driven than Bohemian Rhapsody (which basically made a bunch of shit up to make the story compelling), but it's a nice excuse to learn a bit about Elton's life and enjoy the music. Taron Egerton actually does a really nice job from end to end. (He sings all of the songs and does them justice.)

Anyway, it's worth the ticket if you're a fan. Probably not if you aren't.

His sexuality is a part of the story, but it's much more about his struggles to find love in general rather than the sexual aspect of it. To be fair, calling it "kissing" is a bit of an understatement. I agree with you in principle, but I was definitely glad it cut away when it did.
