The chiefs count on their offense to win games

Without hunt and Watkins the offense isn’t as good.

This isn’t rocket surgery

Yea but 3 of those games we had Hunt. We Lost to the Rams, and an ugly win against the worst team in the league. And we didn't exactly blow out the lowly Cardinals.

Which kinda maybe speaks to the utility in dropping $34 million over 2 seasons on the guy in the first place, no?

Either losing an injury prone player sucks because we should've known he was injury prone and now our offense will suffer. Or signing a guy that has no appreciable impact on our offense but costs a TON of money sucks because it damn sure didn't do our salary cap (and by extension a wobbly defense) any favors.

When the BEST argument that can be made here is "well, he wasn't really helping much anyway..." then perhaps we can close the book on the signing. At this point we're just in 'mitigate the shittiness' mode.

He’s out 4-6 weeks now. Do people realize he’s had 4 weeks to heal that foot up since he hurt it?

So you’re looking 2-3 months for a bruised foot? Yeah, someone is full of shot

I'm not throwing in the towel but no Hunt and no Watkins hurts. 35 a game may not cut it with our shitt defense.
