Let's talk about the Patriots

5-0 heading into a Sunday Night matchup with the Pats.

This should be a good one, men.

Last year was a warmup.

I really feel like last year's team was like the prototype for the kind of offense Andy has always wanted to run when he had an elite deep threat, TE, RB and QB.

Now there's literally not a play in the playbook he can't call.

Deep pass? Got ya.
Intermediate? Check.
Stretch horizontally? No prob.
Throw to the RB? Literally anywhere.
Play action? Easy.
Option? Yup.
Outside run? OK.
Power run? When you least expect it.
Trick play? Hold on to ya butts.

We have shown we can do ALL OF THIS well. We are UNLIMITED on offense.

He's going to draw up the greatest ****ing gameplan of all time Sunday night.

I sure hope you’re right Clay, cause I do not want to go there again in January.

We need to make two miserable teams have to come into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs as the #1 seed. Bad. Get that bye and sleep in their own beds for 3 straight weeks. Let the past be damned, none of it matters now.

Yup. I guess the Jags defense is pretty good. It's hard to tell who's actually good or not when you're consistently throwing up 30 points like it's nothing, but I know the Pats defense ain't shit.

Andy gon' go deep on 'em. Show em little Big Red up close and personal.

People need to adapt to the fact that we no longer need everything to go right for us to win, as has been the case for years with Smiff and even moreso before him.

Now, all we need is for Mahomes to stay healthy. Nothing else matters in the grand scheme. Shit will happen week to week, but if 15 is healthy, I ain't buying any odds against us.

Our starting field position today on several drives was atrocious. We drove the entire length of the field. We failed in the red zone, but damn - we can move the ball. It's gonna be so much fun to watch these guys evolve.

Don’t get me wrong—I think KC scores 30 at minimum and probably more.

But I’ve got very little faith that we hold NE to any less because they may not have Houston, who at worst is an extremely valuable decoy, and they can’t cover RBs or TEs.

The way I see it, there are 4 games more important than the rest, due to having the tiebreaker come playoff time. The Patriots, the Bengals, the Steelers, and the Jaguars. We've played 2 of those and won them both. We now stand 2.5 games ahead of the Steelers, plus the tiebreaker and 2 games ahead of the Jags, plus the tiebreaker. A win against the Pats would put us 3 games up on them plus the tiebreaker. It's still early in the season, but those are pretty big advantages to have. Chiefs need to win on Sunday night, then take care of the Bengals too and HFA will be the Chiefs to lose.

We will lose this game by a thousand cuts.

Bad timeout here. Bad hold here, one 3rd down stop needed and not gotten.
