Which is why individual players matter now more than ever. One Eric Berry can be the difference between a win and a loss. We've got $30M sitting on the freaking bench. That's frustrating.

And to be fair, it's entirely possible Veach is working the phones right now, but if they get to the trade deadline without making any significant moves, that's going to be even more frustrating.

Meh. Maybe I just don't care about HFA as much as some of you do. Mahomes has gone into Pittsburgh, Denver, and New England and performed like a superstar.

Why are the Raven so good?

Defense is worse, but stop acting like every defense is as bad as the Chiefs.

Think about how asinine this is "Nobody plays defense now!"

Yet KC is 32 in yards and 27th in points allowed. Everything is relative in the NFL. The fact that everyone is a bit worse doesn't do anything to defend the fact that KC is THE WORST OF THE AWFUL.

It did on Sunday night. He fell just short enough in the first half that the defense couldn't keep the lead.
