The NFL wants to make rules that favor the more exciting outcome on any given play or drive. Well, on goal line stands, guess what the most exciting play is? The stuffback. The non-conversion. Whatever you want to call it. "4th and an inch? You mean they only have to move the ball the length of Nick Sirianni's tiny dick? That's a cakewalk. OH MAN THEY DIDN'T GET IT!!!!"
The NFL has taken away teams' abilities to play defense. Just giving them one teeny tiny favorable new rule every once in awhile would be nice. |
