I'm sure he's going to be a good player, but unless you're planning to switch to a 3-4, he'd be poor value for his usage in THIS defense. Spags would figure it out, alright, he'd know immediately that you put Smith in on 2nd and 3rd and long as part of a pass rush package. That a 235 pound DE would get steamrolled in the running game. Which isn't great value for a 1st and 3rd you'd have to spend to go get him. |
