A “different” concept than the US.

Another concept that I was naive to in the 90s was private men’s clubs- not our style “gentlemen’s” clubs. Kinda a carryover I guess of Geisha. I had to deal with female Marines profiting from dancing with the patrons on weekends. Blondes had the higher profit margin.

The coolest thing would probably being meeting Derek Vasconi twice and helping him with his documentary because it was all coincidence. We just happened to be at the same show the 2nd time and he was filming.

Probably the area around Senso-ji the temple itself is very impressive and a nice sight and the street market in front of and around it was pretty interesting. Just a little bit farther out is the Sumida river which was pretty calm and peaceful looking into the office parks on the other side.
