Alright Negative Nancies, I'm Calling my Shot!

I'm sick of all the negativity not only on CP, but all over social media regarding the Chiefs. I think the team uses the blowback from the Buffalo game as a galvanizing point for the team and we get not only petty Pat but petty Chiefs for the rest of the season.

The Chiefs are going 4-0 to close out the regular season. Baltimore is going to drop 2 of their last 4 games and Miami is going to lose 2 of their last 4 games. Chiefs get the number 1 seed. Chiefs beat Jacksonville in the divisional round at Arrowhead and then beat Miami in the AFC Championship game.

P.S.--I'm starting the GDTs for the next 4 games before giving it up to Hammock Parties for the playoffs.

Let's ****ing go!!

Now the receiver drops have certainly put the offense in bad positions that are hard to come back from, but the difference in the offensive production from last year is Kelce and McKinnon had monster years from both a receiving yards and TD standpoint. I think we might be seeing the effects of moving from Bienemy to Nagy where we aren't focusing on the running backs and TEs enough in the offense.
Kelce and McKinnon’s declines are entirely predictable… 34 and 31 years old.

Noah Gray could help supplement some of that lost TE production… but not if he gets zero targets and is only in on like 39% of the offensive snaps as was the case last week.

It’s weird that people are so negative toward a team that is literally two dropped passes and an offensive offsides from being 11-2. And a blatant uncalled penalty from likely another win.

Agreed, but the only way I see Mahomes fixing the problem is to throw the ball harder and have it stick in their facemasks.

That PPG is surprising to me. A TD less per game and only dropped 10 places?

I said something to my wife in the first half about Nagy not being creative. But I thought he did much better in the second half. I still think the WRs are not being coached up very well. They don't know how to run routes, how to check with the SJ, how to catch a ball, etc. Nagy may be a part of that but I think we really need to upgrade the WR coaching. We have too many young guys and no veteran leadership (MVS ain't it). They need someone to coach/mentor them, badly.

There's a lot of interpersonal violence out there in people's homes and elsewhere and I don't want to see Mahomes or any of my other favorite players reacting like that when things don't go their way. I get angry at shit, too, and yell about things, but that's not the way to be and I try to control myself.

...come to think about it, the main thing I yell about are NFL refs
Chris Sims said today on his PFT show with Mike Florio that the helmet crack was due to Mahomes throwing it around all season. I think the cold and the forces caused by the facemask contributed to it, too, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the helmet’s overall integrity had been compromised by being slammed to the ground, leading to an exceptional occurrence.

this is an odd comment to choose when bumping this thread. You sure you didn't bump your head. Also, LFG!
