Dude is out there giving a pre-game speech that the Players are clearly responding to.
Deberg calls him a cancer. The only drama EB has created is the drama with the fans because everyone was so nervous for so long about this defense. Fact is, everyone turned on Berry because of how badly they want him on the field.

With how the players are responding to him in the pre-game speeches and just in general during the sideline it looks like he still has their support. I think he actually wants to be out there but just physically can't do it. Also, I thought he looked rusty as hell when he was out there against the Chargers and Seahawks. This is the AFC f'n Championship Game against the Patriots. We don't have a ton of margin for error so unless Berry looks amazing in practice I would rather just roll with Lucas and Dirty Dan.

I'm not sure where you're getting this narrative from, not even the Pats fan I know would agree with you. Our game planning for Gronk should mostly be worried about him as a blocker. |

Guess you missed where he was being single-covered by Josh Shaw, who was signed like 2 weeks before that game and cut like 3 weeks after.

You know your stuff, but if you're going to chime in , in your typical know-it-all fashion, you should at least be up to speed on what we're talking about. Unless, I totally missed the point that you're making now. Dont think I did though. .

vs Jets - 3 catches for 56 yards and a TD vs Dolphins - 8 catches for 107 yards and a TD Outside of those two games he's averaged 2 catches for 23 yards and 0 TDs. He's also contemplating retiring after this season. I don't think his head is in the game anymore. |

Do I want to? Yes. Will he? I don't think so. Still rocking his jersey while watching the game though.

I couldn't care less about EB
He hasn't done anything for this team for 2 years. We can roll with Lucas just fine

I bet he does now. He is going to want to be active for a possible Super Bowl game. He is going to risk the Chiefs putting him on IR to activate LDT and Watts.

I think Berry plays in the AFC Championship game, then gets two weeks to recover for the Super Bowl in his home town of Atlanta, and retires after we win the Super Bowl.
Goes out on top. |

If I was Reid even if he was healthy I wouldn't play him. He'll be rusty. Just not worth the risk.

Simple. If he doesn’t play he won’t play in the Super Bowl
