We won't dominate any team as long as the DL plays like pussies. So far they have.

I wasn't sure what I was watching.

Called a friend who coached in college football and said our entire defense was a joke against Baltimore.

No effort and terrible scheme.

Thats the bad news.

Good news is we can be a lot better but it makes me mad defense acts like they're on a pitch count.

If we lose to the Chargers we'll officially be in dead last place in the division. No way around it.

Meh.

Don’t think we will, but even if we did don’t know that I’d be that distraught about it. This team will eventually hit its stride and end up in the playoffs.

Honestly, don’t even care about the regular season that much anymore as a Chiefs fan. With Patrick Mahomes as our QB, it’s all about getting to the Super Bowl and winning Super Bowls. Every. Single. Year.

As long as they get their shit together and turn it on come playoff time, good enough for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still enjoy the journey along the way. And I’m sure I’ll bitch when they look and play like crap. But ultimately, the destination is the big picture, not the journey.

The Giants won 2 Super Bowls with teams that never dominated, but knew how to turn it on when the playoffs got here. If the Chiefs can do the same, works for me.

I can tell you this much; I’ll gladly take a 12-5, 11-6 regular season if it means another Super Bowl appearance. Not saying I want them to lose that much, but as a Chiefs fan, the post season is really all that matters now.

And THAT, my friend, is a beautiful thing.

Wally lost his touch in the Bucs' Super Bowl. Spags in the Ravens' Super Bowl. Unless Toub needs to lose his? We good, now.

Herbert is pretty severely underrated. The Chargers will be tough.

Herbert has thrown more INTs than TDs this year. He may be having a sophomore slump.

It’s time to see this team blow teams out of the water like they are capable. The Chargers are talented, but this is a team that we should blow away. I know it’s a divisional game and divisional games are always tough, but this needs to be a statement game and Reid needs to have these guys prepared and ready to roll. Steam roll these chargers

I love where your heads at, but Reid won’t let us blow anyone out. Several games last year should’ve been blowouts, but Reid goes conservative.

As long as we win, I guess it doesn’t matter. I think Reid has a mentality of putting as little on tape as possible while still securing the win.

It works great, until it doesn’t.

I agree, and you’re right. That stat I read last week about us not covering the spread in like our last 7 games really ticks me off. And it has to tick Mahomes off too. Winning is winning, yes, but the great teams (like the Pats as an example) would crush the bad teams. I know we do “win” majority of the games against bad teams, which in the past didn’t happen…. But it’s time to assert our dominance. Reid’s statement about going back to the drawing board on defense gives me a sliver of hope that he’s going to reevaluate the offense too. This team lacks that attitude that swag that killer instinct, We need to show we are bad asses.
