There’s absolutely zero objectivity in this discussion. The Browns are heavy underdogs, but let’s stop acting like there’s no way they beat the Chiefs. This game is no gimme, and if the Browns get their run game chugging we could be in trouble. Every game in the NFL is a dogfight from what I’ve watched over the past 25 years.

I’m trying to figure out how the Browns are a bad matchup for us.

It’s obviously not their defense.

The concern, if I were a CLE fan, is that their defense couldn't slow down Ben at all in the second half of that game.

CLE allowed PIT to score TDs on 5 out of 8 possession after the first quarter. 13 plays, 89 yds. FG. 8 plays, 84 yds. 12 plays, 68 yds. PUNT. 4 plays, 76 yds. Based on how they were moving the ball and scoring, PIT should've gone for that 4th, but they punted. Otherwise, they might've scored on 6 straight possessions.

I know, CLE's Joe Woods was calling things incredibly conservatively to protect against big plays, but it didn't work anyway. PIT scored their last two TDs in 1:24 and 1:42. In fact, the Steelers first two TDs of the second half took about 7 minutes total. Add that up, and PIT scored 4 TDs in just over 10 minutes.

And PIT basically didn't even try to run the ball. So all CLE had to do was defend the pass, and they couldn't even slow PIT down.

I like CLE, but their defense is bad, Ward isn't going to be that much help, and with Garrett still not 100% they don't even have a pass rush. Patrick is going to have a field day against that defense.
