We won comfortably and Pat is, well, Pat. Seeing the NE game deflated me tho. We have to travel there and if we lose they’ll hold the tiebreaker - and their schedule is almost criminal. Hard to see us winning there in January. Thomas and Brown didn’t even play and it shows they don’t even need decent WR.

Am I being defeatist, anyone else feel that way?

And he obviously had a lot to do with the adjustments that led to blanking Oakland for 3 quarters.

I don't see any reason to think that the Patriots are vastly improved. I think the Chiefs would have had similar results in those games. Probably less impressive defensive stats but more impressive offensive numbers.

If we played Miami right now, the final score would be about 60-7.

I love my Chiefs, have my cap, sweater, banner, my Texans/Chiefs football cards, my coasters.....but....

The Pats are a great great team and it will be a real task trying to beat them at their place, I have to keep it real. We will have to play our very best and hope for some turn overs, a sub par Pats game.

As both the Pats and the Chiefs are the two best teams in the AFC our fan bases have similar positions. We follow your team and you follow our team.

It is early in the year and is only two games. Pats have look solid but we played two teams that were not that strong, with Mia being a dumpster fire right now.

I would be tad concern if I were a Chiefs fan but not too worried

Similarly, as a Pats fans watching the Chiefs first two games I am a tad concerned as the Chiefs so far have not left off from where there were last year. We held Mahomes and the offense to two quiet halves in our two games last year but the games went down to the wire in the end. Should be a fun game in December.

I will be interested to see how Sunday's game goes between the Chiefs and the Ravens.
