La Canfora-Peters trade was mandated by Clark Hunt

Keep in mind that La Canfora had the Peters news days before anyone else did.

I believe him

No way it was the fact he was simply an uncontrollable douche bag. It has to be the fact he sat on the bench during the anthem.

Pretty sure every single team has a few high maintenance talented players.

I cant think of another Marcus Peters currently in the NFL.

No they dont...this was always intended to be a LA only deal. It's why they tried to hide the compensation for as long as possible. Owners want (need) LA to succeed. It's the most ridiculous/lop-sided trade in modern NFL history...

Peters has the 2nd most turnovers in history through 3 years...

Crazy thing is it really doesn't matter. He is GONE. Suck it up and accept what we have recieved and move on. Have you guys forgotten about PMII? Really, let it go. We are all upset, we are all Chiefs fans and yes, this sucks but, it is out of our hands. Carry on! To the future!

Sean Smith, Ruben Foster, Sheldon Richardson, there are plenty of them.

No one can offer any proof of what actually happened with Peters' mom. I wouldn't be surprised that it happened, but at this point, it's hearsay. And as far as the other stuff is concerned, actual violent acts like choking a woman out, rate a hell of a lot higher than, "might have pushed." Kelce gets just as many flags, just as many ejections (we'll calls Peters' technically an ejection), and he's bitched about teammates and coaches to the media.

HOF numbers for the last 3yrs and we only get a 4th and a 2nd ? And we have to give up a 6th this year ? Who gives up picks for trading away a HOF stat shutdown corner ? That's how bad this guy was in the locker room and the rest of the league agreed by not competing for this guy.

Would Clark Hunt have a problem with the Chiefs signing Colin Kaepernick?

“You know I really wouldn’t,” Hunt said. “Obviously, we have an interesting dynamic in regards to Colin in that we have Alex Smith as our starter. Because of that, I wouldn’t anticipate that Andy (Reid) would come to me with that.
Maybe now that Alex is gone, Kaepernick should have his agent check in with the Chiefs again for the backup job.
