For those of you in last weekend's beta, how did the game run for you? Was it laggy? Did you have decent FPS?

No Lag at all for me. Didn't know how to check FPS but everything was smooth with no hick ups in movie dialog or combat or anything. I think I am running an Nvidia GTX 550 with 1Gig of GDDR 5

Those aren't flashpoints, those are heroic quests. They have them on every planet, bit of group content to do in addition to all the solo-oriented class questing and planet storyline. You can actually solo the early ones, they're all Heroic 2s as I recall (meaning they're designed for 2 players without companions). Later on you start to get Heroic 2+s (designed for 2 plus companions) and Heroic 4s (designed for 4 players).

I only had lag once in the 7 days I've played, about a half a day's worth on the final Monday of the first weekend test.

Legacy system is finally official. This is just the first step:

Hey Everyone,

This build has our first iteration of the Legacy System! At its core the Legacy system is about allowing players to create a family tree of characters. Family is pretty important to the Star Wars universe, with the Skywalker family having one of the most interesting dynamics in movie history. This version is just the foundational components that we will use to build upon in the future. Here are the features of this iteration:

Once your character has completed their Chapter 1 storyline, they will be able to choose a Legacy Last Name. This Legacy Last Name must be unique and is shared across all characters, on all servers - so choose carefully!
Once you have unlocked your Legacy, any and all characters on that server will now contribute to that player's Legacy Experience Points. Much like normal experience points, when you reach certain Legacy thresholds, you will increase your Legacy Level.

Interesting tidbit I found: everybody can access the VIP lounge on their respective space station. It's free for CE and DDE owners. Everybody else has to pay....

Not sure why that makes me laugh so much, I guess it's a Dr. Evil flashback.

They do not, however, receive access to the CE store.



That's a lot of credits in this game. As a non-slicer the most I ever had at one time was around 80k in my mid-20s, before I purchaced my first vehicle and the skill to use it (45k credits total).

And now I better get my ass to work.

Well yeah, it's going to be the best game ever made, so obviously all classes are going to be a lot of fun to play, I was just wondering which you preferred the most. If you enjoyed them all equally, then holy shit!
