Either that or they were hopeful that he would pass protocol and they wanted the option for him to be able to play if that happened. Either way it seems like people are making a lot of assumptions, there could be more to it than what is visible to us.

be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that daily testing was something that players had to opt into. It was completely their decision. My guess is that they liked the fact that they could feel confident (somewhat) that they couldn’t spread to their team or family.

The union negotiated it. It is not voluntary at this point, it's a collectively bargained agreement.

Sorry to ask this question for the one millionth time, but in my defense the rules have changed so much it's tough to even understand.

Does Kelce even need to test negative to play? The 10 day rule is put in place because you are not contagious after 10 days. In fact, no one has ever been able to culture live virus after the 9th day, hence the original reason for the 10 day quarantine rule.

So basically, doesn't he just have to feel good enough to play? And I guess have game ready stamina? Wouldn't think the testing is even an issue for him as his 10 days are up at this point. And FWIW, I heard from a pretty reliable source that he felt fine at first and then felt like complete ass a few days into it. So I'd guess it has to mostly just be up to how he feels unless I'm misreading the rules.
