One other comment: Compare the callers on 810 to the callers on 610 for a good laugh sometime. The callers on 610 are typically guys that sound like they've just smoked meth and taken their false teeth out to get on the phone. It's insane.

On the flipside, the callers on 810 I assume are all 85 year old men sitting on a haystack in the middle of their barn.

KK was doing shows with Whitlock before they were even broadcasting over 810 and his station was the first local sports talk station to hire a full time black host in Whitlock. I guess people can write that off the way they do when anyone says they have a black friend, but I don't see any evidence of racism in KK. I suspect he has problems with the culture that many black athletes come from, but that's not racism.

Sports talk radio is KC has been terrible for a generation. It has sucked since at least the early 90s. I wonder why this town can't ever seem to get a good show or host.
Although I wasn't really a fan of his shtick, bigsexy was the best thing on KC radio for the last 20 years. And that's kinda sad.
