Raiders' Henry Ruggs in fatal accident - will be charged with DUI resulting in death

Update: Not a rumor, actually happened. Story developing.

Per TMZ: 10:27 AM PT -- A source close to Ruggs tells us the NFL'er is expected to be OK. The condition of the other people involved in the crash is still unclear.

10:40 AM PT -- A law enforcement source tells us at least one person involved in the crash has died. Ruggs' attorney, David Chesnoff, tells TMZ Sports, "On behalf of our client Henry Ruggs III we are conducting our own investigation as of this writing and ask everyone to reserve judgment until all the facts are gathered."

A lot of rumors floating around, and there was a pretty bad vehicular accident last night in Las Vegas.

I have no idea if Ruggs was involved as the internet claims.

Plus the details of his case were so different, it’s difficult to even compare them. A woman died due to Ruggs’ negligence and we have video to prove it. Watson’s case is a bunch of ‘he said, she said’.

Strangely though I think the "crime" Watson committed is probably tougher to navigate around. What Ruggs did is clearly the more heinous thing, but what Watson did is creepy and gross. And the QB is the face of the franchise, so it's front and center constantly. Every game, every practice, every interview, every mention of the Browns that happens. It's going to pop into people's minds constantly until his career is over.

It's a little like Mike Vick's situation. Some absolutely could never forgive the dog fighting thing. To many, strange as it may sound, he probably would have been more easily forgiven for a DUI crash that burned a woman alive.
