Coincidentally, the 1989 draft was on last night. I excitedly turned it on, but they were already on pick 17 or 18, so the excitement was over.

The funny thing was that Louis Oliver was their big story about slipping, and they were brutal about it. They were saying, "We're hearing that he's slipping because of rumors of drug use. Let's go to Lesley Visser who is with Louis now." And then Leslie Visser is sitting with this poor guy and says, "We're hearing that you're sliding down draft boards because of drug abuse? Are you a drug user?"
