If this was in Buffalo at this time of the year with their D playing at such a high level, I think they would win.

I just don't think their O has what it takes to win in NE

I would LOVE to be wrong on this! C'mon Buffalo, prove me wrong....

Josh Allen will turn the ball over. It seems like every time i watch the Bills he's turning the ball over.

Offensively the Bills just dont have what it takes. The Patriots just blew out a Bengals team while doing NOTHING on offense, purely from defensive scores and takeaways.

They'll beat the Bills the same way.

This could go either way. I don’t see either offense doing much in this one.

The Bills should be preaching ball security all week. I could see a 14-12 game or some bullshit like that. It’s going to be super boring, but we should get to see Brady get hit.

That is how I see it too. The Bills O is too anemic.

Man - Every throw Josh Allen makes is about 20 inches away from being decent.

He puts so many balls ALMOST where they're supposed to be. Just a little high, then just a little wide, then just a little short. Nothing that his guy can't get his hands on, but just enough off the mark that he makes the catch exponentially harder.

And his WR crew is...fine. But it's not a group of guys that are gonna pull him from the fire all that often.

I just don't know how he makes enough accurate passes to pull that game off. He's gonna throw 2 or 3 that come in hot and high/wide, deflect off a guy's hands and then just flutter up there for a big pick.

I just feel like that Patriots defense is a real bad matchup for a QB that who makes as many unforced misfires as Allen does.

They better sweep the locker room for bugs and run a fake walkthrough if they want to have a chance.

Josh Allen isn't the Bills' problem. McDermott and Daboll are. They play ultra-conservative Martyball, which almost never works in the big games and is certainly never going to work against the Cheatriots. The Bills' defense will keep it close, but they have no chance of winning unless they radically change their playcalling on offense.

I figure at least 2-3 interceptions by Allen. The question is can the Patriots score 20pts? I think the Bills can win if the turnovers aren’t killers like a pick 6.

I think the game will end up 20-17 with both teams having a chance to win.

I think the Bills playcalling is doing an awfully good job of keeping Allen's inaccuracy from gutting them.

If you start asking him to push those balls 18-20 yards down the field, they go from being 16 inches wide of the mark to a full yard and end up getting picked off.

Now there's something to be said for the Eli Manning model - huck it deep, go risk/reward and if he gets picked it's nominally worse than an arm punt. But I think when you have a powerful running game and a sturdy defense, you are probably better served to utilized a ball-control offense.

As a general rule I'd agree with you, but with this quarterback, you're asking for a gameplan that's gonna yield something similar to what the Bears are getting from Trubisky and there are times that Mitch just removes them from the game. Until they can get more consistent downfield accuracy from Allen, they need to continue to protect him (and the team) from himself.

They can't let him take them out of the ballgame and against an opportunistic defense like NE, I think pushing the ball will yield precisely that. They'll get the 10-14 points on off turnovers that they'll need to win the game.

I’m not for resting starters unless we have the 3 locked up at least.

McDermott played renegade all week so the bills would be hyped when it came on. Right after it did the bills marched down and scored a TD.

Exactly. They play ball control because with Allen, they have to.
