Is CEH a JAG?

Is Clyde just another guy?

I’m writing a dissertation on this.

Thanks.

KC isn't great at it, because it's an afterthought mostly, something they do every once in awhile.

KC fans don't really understand that because it's been years since we really ran the ball consistently. So they see a couple of 2 or 3 yard runs and say-"See? Can't run."

That's not how it works. If you're patient, by the second half and into the 4th quarter you start gashing the defense for the big runs.

Of course, the argument that you're wasting too many drives to get to that point is a legitimate one.

But it takes a while for your line to impose it's will on the opposition. And ultimately, that's what running the ball is. Physically dominating your opponent and demolishing their will.

I argued that we should run the ball more when Mahomes and company weren't being effective passing; mostly just to force the defense out of two high looks and to give us some easier play-action throws.

But this team will never be a 'running team' with Andy Reid and Mahomes here.

Nor should they be.

Any play that takes the ball out of Mahomes/Kelce/Hill's hands is less value than one that doesn't.

Hence, don't do it much.

We don't stick with the run enough. If we rip off ten yards then run it again. We don't and just go on and start passing like it was getting stuffed.

Nope. We should do what working. We have many games this year that running was more effective but we just don't take advantage.

It’ll just get stuffed for 0 yards but people will still brag about that 5 ypc.

5 ypc behind a road-grader offensive line when defenses are daring us to run the ball.

To a certain degree most of the runs that are called seem to be RPO's where your not having the line fire out, pull or set up angles to attack the dee. Rather using the pass threat to hold linebackers in place and hope the RB finds a seem between the lineman. Not really a we are going to lineup and pound it down your throat approach. Also a play that becomes less effective in the red zone as well.

Yet, again he was not needed in the win during the win streak because Darrel held his own filling the spot.

CEH has no impact on the game like the pick of the litter 1st round RB should

Exactly.

But you're talking to Red Dawg. Beyond I formation, he's not sure what you're talking about.

He just wants to pound it like Billay.

Most late 1st/early 2nd RB's don't ever emerge as anything special. RB is a commodity position.

You could make an argument CEH shouldn't have been drafted in the 1st and I'd listen but expecting him to perform differently because he actually was is a waste of time.

There's no argument, there's precedence one being Blackledge vs Kelly/Marino Alex/Rodgers Trubisky/Mahomes at the QB position

During CEH it was Jonathan Taylor being available.

Can't make an excuse when talent was clearly present

CEH is the Alex Smith of RBs

If we have to make this debate, then pick was a bust for the draft selection he was picked.

What would this offense do with ****ing Taylor?

You'd be sitting here pissing and moaning about him not getting used enough. Whereas Frank Reich is currently getting questions left and right about whether or not Taylor can handle the workload.

You're comparing apples to oranges.
