has anyone else seen 'Frozen?' - it's the one where the three get stuck for a weekend on a ski lift.
What a racket that was. |

They dropped 50 into a cast of real actors. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Omar Benson Miller, Terrence Howard, Bill Duke, and Viola Davis. That's a strong strong cast. He's also got a pretty compelling story. That certainly didn't hurt.

Saw Taken 2 for the second time yesterday. Gah.
I saw it last weekend, but was forced to see it again as my kid wanted to see it for his birthday. The first film was clearly better. There will obviously be a third film. They left this one so open-ended.
Spoiler!

saw looper on Friday, it was okay, but the whole premise bugs me because it's implausible (chicken or the egg type thing)

Watched Dark Shadows. The movie seems to take forever and doesn't really go anywhere.
Also watched That's My Boy. Enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Hilarious. |

Apollo 18 - Pretty bad but held my attention.
Kung Fu Panda 2 - The first one was much better IMO. I didn't like this one at all. Big Lebowski - Still awesome Melonchali - Cool idea turned into what felt like 4 hours of boredom. Kirsten Dunst reveals the goods though. All 4 popped up on my movie channels this weekend. |

Fantastic movie. Everything Wes Anderson touches is gold, IMO -- so I'm a bit biased.

I saw Frankenweenie with the kids a few weeks ago. Very macabre, but we all really enjoyed it. It was sort of a throwback to old school Tim Burton like Beetlejuice IMO.
