Ah, that's it. Scott Erickson is some random pitcher from the 90's.

Meh. I was ok with it. I now we have nothing to lose, we're 1-7, but it would be really nice to reward Thigpen with a win for his play the last three weeks...

If he throws a pick, or we have a 3 and out, and San Diego tacks on a score before half we lose all of the momentum we built up in the first half...I know that's the 'Herm Edwards mentality' everyone hates...but there is a time to be aggressive and that wasn't necessarily it.

As long as we see the no huddle spread to start the half I'll be 100% content with out decision before half.

How bad would it to be go to the playoffs this year? It's not impossible since we're beating the best team in the AFC WERST. Not likely, but not impossible. Could we see a team have a losing season and still make the playoffs? LOL...

You know what I mean...I'm not saying they pull a 1990's Jets move and draft a no name in the first round...I'm talking about if he was an actual NFL prospect and not Tyler 'who?' Thigpen...

I challenge: Young and Rickey Watters.

I could swear Watters put up insane numbers back in 94 when they punked the Chargers in the SB...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Absolutely correct. I think they were just going to run out the clock, but then they picked up a first down. There just wasn't enough time to do anything.

Although on the last play I think Thigpen just should have thrown it as far as he could and hope for a penalty.

I didn't see the game last week, so I'm interested in seeing what Gailey/Herm does in the second half. We can try to win this game now or try not to lose it...
