Tony Romo rumor

Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

What do you guys think

I'm sure the Broncos really regret their 4 years of Peyton Manning

Apples and oranges, and I'm sure Tom Brady could give a **** about Denver's 4 lame-assed years of the Insurance Salesman.

Really? Brady was 0-2 in AFC Championship Games against Denver when Manning was at QB. Odd.

Comparing Romo to Alex Smith is a ****ing joke.
He also lost a playoff game when he had 3 turnovers and was the singular reason the cowboys lost. That year the cowboys had a top 5 defense too so there was no excuse.

Getting "excited" over Romo.

How utterly pathetic the KC QB situation has become.

Which game?

You realize I can list playoff games by Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning that all suggest they played poorly and were a reason their team lost, right?

Hell, there is a thread on CP after this last Super Bowl that blamed Matt Ryan for losing. Funny.

Using hindsight, Derek Carr. I didn't think Carr would become this good but that would probably be the only other alternative to Smith at that point.

Good rebuttal, man. You make some dumbass comment about 'insurance salesman' while not realizing that Brady lost twice to Manning in 4 years as he was Denver's retread in the AFC's biggest game.

Now, is Tony Romo Peyton Manning? No, I don't think so.

But Romo is a known commodity, would be the best QB to ever suit up in KC, and is certainly a big upgrade to two guys you had absolute meltdowns over (Sanchez, Smith).

You literally have spent nearly every year of your existence on this board crying about New York Jets QB's (Sanchez, Smith). You cried once before this last crybaby meltdown that no one remembers during the Sanchize era ...

So, bud, you don't get to tell anyone who should be QB of the Chiefs. Your track record is abysmal and it's clear as day you don't know what good QB'ing is.

the Smith trade was a good trade and the Chiefs won that trade, no doubt

but now it's time to move on - Smith showed that against Pitt. Just unacceptable QB play out of a team leader in a home playoff game. His limitations are evident.

With a roster this good, and a pick as late as we have, there is only 1 way to upgrade the position .. and it's Tony Romo. Do whatever you can to land Tony Romo. If we're serious about our window, and want to win some actual meaningful games ... he's the guy.

A P. Manning or Romo are almost NEVER available. Last time it happened, Manning went 1-1 in Super Bowls over 4 years with 4 division wins. Now it's our turn to get lucky and have a great QB fall into our laps.

Ignoring the fact that Montana and Warren Moon have in fact worn a KC uniform in addition to conveniently forgetting Len Dawson, an old broke the **** down Romo isn't better than Trent Green who did more with less throughout his tenure as a Chief.

Against the Vikings.

22/35 for 198 yards / 1INT / 3fumbles with 2 lost

That is a horrible game.

poorly worded by me ... best QB we've seen on the Chiefs since Montana, I suppose ... and it's a different era at that .. not sure that Montana was better than the Romo we'd get, but that's impossible to gauge
