Basically she's the hot chick from high school... moved away and became an author. She decides to come back and re-unite with her old boyfriend (who happens to be happily married with a new baby.) It's a "dramady" Lots of awkward moments. |

Just watched Drive. Great movie.
One question. How many words did Gosling's character actually speak? Seemed like less than 200. |

My brother watched that last night and said it was pretty good. Tonight, I'm wanting to watch a movie but I just have so much to choose from that I can't decide. I got a movie called Videodrome from 1983. It seems like maybe I've seen it before and liked it, but I don't know for sure. I browse around on Netflix instant watch all the time, but often I can't decide. I remember the days of renting a video at Blockbuster and watching it without thinking because it's all you had.

I just watched the Eagle, and it was really good. Much better than the reviewers have been saying.

If so, I really enjoyed that movie. I thought it was going to suck strictly because most movies featuring Channing Tatum do indeed suck. But I was very pleased with it. |

Immortals and Real Steel were both great from an entertainment perspective. I'm currently re-watching Immortals.

Man that movie was awful... Probably the worst movie I paid to see last year.

Spoiler!
Even so, I thought it was pretty cool. Any scene with the Gods in it was gold to me. I thought that was well done. Mickey Rourke played a great villain and Theseus was pretty cool for a no-name. Plus the Indian oracle bitch had a nice ass. Theseus should have been tapping that from the get. EDIT: I Redboxed it so maybe that's the difference. I had no expectations and didn't pay much.. |

I've not seen many movies lately.
But, I've watched some great documentaries on Netflix. Elevate was awesome. |

Watched "The Cabin in the Woods" last night.. The lady and I were both thoroughly entertained. The movie takes a lot from other great horror flicks but somehow still seems very original. I highly recommend this one -- it's sitting at 92% right now on RT.
