We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

That's the kind of deals they need to make IMO.

Looking at the Eagles the last few years, just try and put as many guys on the DL as possible.

These are exactly the type of guys they need to get on the cheap and see if they can get something out of them.

The problem with Lawrence is while he's a ****ing badass, you'd have to probably give up atleast a high pick and give him the deal dee ford just got.

Think Ansah is visiting buffalo today. Speaking of which, DE jerry Hughes name was thrown out there last year at the trade deadline as possibly being available. I don’t think I would trade for him but if he gets cut that’s a guy kinda like Curry where a short term deal and veteran leadership makes sense

True. At least he'd be somewhat worth it.

Keep them fresh and have an actual DL rotation. Just got to get a bunch of guys to buy in. Would’ve been culture shock to Ford and Houston

DJLN is big on Fuller, i'm kinda lukewarm on it, but that Lawrence extension would be huge.

Plus it would probably take pick 29 to get him.

I think they will draft a DE and safety with the first two picks probably.. those should be pretty good players looking at the respective position draft classes.

And then it’s time to coach ‘em up.

Last I heard, Lawrence wants at least $20M per year. Probably more.

That’s money for Jones I’d say. He’s a rare breed.

Right, that's why I said it didn't seem very realistic.

I'd rather have him than Ford for that kind of money but honestly, I'd just rather have somebody else for a lot less.

Problem I see is that even mid tier guys are gonna get pretty solid money.

They'll wait out some of them til the money comes down i'd think.

Lynch is a bigger Scott Fujita type, big enough you can play him at DE. Probably some special teams ability left as well. It’s not going to be 5 each at OLB and 5 ILB. It’s gonna be 6-7 total LB on the 53. And not 5-6 DL but 8-9-10. Those numbers flip around with the scheme switch in regards to the 53
