Barry Sanders my ass...

I can't believe anybody would think that he runs anything like Barry Sanders! The guy's a midget! He doesn't run anything remotely close to like Barry Sanders runs!

You've bought into the hype I guess. The media wants to compare everybody to everybody...

It's almost like you never watched Barry Sanders play. I mean you're talking about a guy who had the ability to run faster than anyone on the field, he had an endless supply of moves, he had the ability to change direction on a dime, he could stop and start and accelerate instantly.

You have basically just sat here and told me that Q Griffin has the ability to be the single greatest running back in the history of the National Football League. That's what you've just said. No if's, and's or but's, you truly believe that after 2 starts against poor defenses that he has the skiills and ability to rush for more yards than anybody who has ever played the game of football.

I already heard the Plummer is the Next Elway argument from the boobs on ESPN Sunday night. So, I agree, there are idiots out there who will say anything for face time, no matter how stupid it sounds.

, let's see how well Griffen does when they come to Arrowhead.

I will say that I thought he ran similar to Sanders on one run. But it's way too soon to start making comparisons.

Griffen does in a way resemble Sanders, but he has a long way to go before any comparisons should be made. I watched him many times in person and I am a big "Q" fan, and I hated it when he was drafted by Denver. You have a good RB and an even better person in Griffen. He is an ultimate team player and is a very quiet and respectable person, and he will excell in Denver if he stays healthy.
I can also tell you from watching him so much when he played at OU, there were games when it was so frustrating watching him because he would have so many runs with no gain or runs for a loss. Then he may break one for 60 yards, but not always. He will have some very good games, but he will surely have some very poor games. One thing I do remember about him is he does go down very easily when someone gets a hold of him. I've seen many one armed tackles on Q.

He is not even clinton portis like yet... He has a ways to go before that happens... like after facing a real defensive threat... But watching him, he is a great find, he will be good. But just cannot tell yet.

The only two teams he has gone up agianst in real situations are the Chiefs and Colts... Not real scary there...

So I'm trying to figure this out. You're saying that Griffin is actually better than Portis?

Pretty much. Yeah.

Skills, and ability, most definiely.

Durability? That's another issue altogether... It's worth noting that runners with this kind of style don't take too many direct hits.

But yeah, I think Quentin has skill and ability to light this league up.

Yes, you were right.

So I'm guessing that the Chiefs looked at him and decided that he wasn't a good fit.

Barry Sanders and Quentin Griffin have something else in common.

They're both out of the NFL.

This ranks right up there with another Taco-ism that "Plummer won't $uck because he'll have more talent in Denver."
