George Pickens posting "Free Me" on IG story

Also supposedly deleted all Steelers content. Unfollowed teammates, coach, and the Steelers page.

If nobody caught it last night, everybody was very happy for Diontae Johnson finally scoring a TD (hasn't since Dec of 2021), and they showed him on the sidelines sulking like a little bitch.

This dude is obviously VERY talented, but he's a ****ing headcase.

I'm sure Tomlin will settle the kid down.

Wish Veach had taken Pickens instead of Skyy though. Headcase or not, he's a real NFL WR.

Yeah he's a headcase, but personally I still would take him over Skyy 10/10 times. Worst case scenario you trade him like KC did with Marcus Peters and get back draft capital. KC might as well have given their 2nd rd pick away for how valuable Skyy has been.

That being said, it's in the past so no use crying over spilled milk. Hopefully Rice is a sign of better evaluation at the position (and hopefully Skyy still finds some way to contribute). Just quit taking slot receivers year after year.

His team is 5-3, won last night, and he pulls this? That's a very selfish player.
the +1 was not taking him because of major character concerns that are already popping up. He also had injury concerns.

Pittsburgh sure has a history of drafting head case WRs.

No position in football has your career stats and earnings so completely dependent on so many other people quite like the WR. Between the obvious of the QB they also depend a lot on the o-line, play caller, and general game script. Their income really is heavily impacted by so much that they probably feel a need to demand more and better opportunities.

There is true class watching old videos of Barry Sanders or John Riggins score, and just flip or hand the ball back to the referee.

I'd love for those kind of problems. Our problems are guys getting two hands on a ball.

The weird part of this is the guy had a shot at a TD last night if he makes a play.

He's posting this a couple of days after the trade deadline?

So he's just expecting to be cut?

Or I guess his way of expressing himself?

Yea, players aren't perfect but not getting that second foot down was sloppy.

Plus all his teammates were congratulating him when it appeared he scored. His teammates were happy for him, then he does this. It is just weird.

He’s just blowing off steam on social media after another shitfest game by Pittsburgh’s offense.

Should he be doing this? No

But players today going on social media to vent their frustration is not exactly unprecedented.

Only the dumbshit OP would take Skyy Moore over Pickens.

I would rather take a criminal. Let Andy Reid sort them out. TO was a locker room killer and single handedly destroyed Mcnabbs reputation as a leader. Pickens was bitching in his first few games. Imagine if he was slowly worked in the way rice is or the way skyy was. I have a lot of gripes with our WRs… arguably we’ve given mahomes guys who have been way too nice and upright. But I don’t like mahomes dealing with a diva who is going to gripe about his usage. Tyreek was allegedly a little bit of a gimme the ball diva for one season and cp lost their damn minds
