We had the same play in Mini in 2004. Refs got it wrong then too.

Announcer ref saying it doesn't matter that he was out. Ball was in player possession while in bounds. I dunno.

I'm definitely fuzzy on the rules, but as I understand it:

1. It wasn't down when he was touching the ball while OOB because it was in the possession of the Seahawks player.
2. By the time he stripped it, he had re-established being in bounds. He couldn't be the first player to possess it at that point, but again, it was already possessed by the Seahawks player.

Definitely a weird one.
