Mahomes says Colts did exactly what Lions did last week and what Patriots did in AFC Championship: Man coverage. Colts have been predominately zone defense. Mahomes says KC needs to learn to beat man coverage or teams will keep doing it. I’d guess Tyreek’s return could help that.

Couldn't beat a defensive backfield whose starters were either out or playing hampered. Jesus ****ing Christ I'm actually more angry about this game this norning than I was last night.

I actually was comparing the 2 myself. Now that Rodgers has a running game and a defense, that team looks dangerous. Mahomes is all on his own.

Yep. When teams can rush 3 or 4 all night and still get pressure, the o-line is a huge problem.

That is going to happen when they know Pat is holding the ball to let guys get deep, it will be a problem no matter who the line is.

He couldn’t throw the damn ball cause he had .7 seconds damn near every time. Meanwhile Brisset had 4,5,6,7 seconds to sit back there and dance around all game. We need a damn pass rush almost as bad as we need Erving to hightail it out of town.

Mahomes is an unquestionably great player, but this also shines a light on the impossible bounty of gifts he's had as a young quarterback. When you don't have multiple elite weapons at each level of the defense it's a lot harder to look brilliant every game.
